Creativity in the makeup industry on social media focuses on new ideas and approaches to makeup looks and new ways to display their look on social media. Although the makeup industry on social media is not a typical workplace, many influencers on the platform use social media as a job through monetization of certain sites. If influencers and brands are not inspired by new makeup coming out, or if they have a difficult time connecting with other influencers on the platform, they may become burnt out. Creative Burnout is feeling overwhelmed by the demand of creativity. If an influencer feels as if they are pressured or forced to upload creative pieces every day, they may experience this. Burnout is necessary to study since creativity depends on passion and excitement over a project and going through burnout is loss of that passion which may influence someone to quit this creative field.

Consumer Perspectives.

"It’s not just about the makeup or colors, when influencers and brands have a such a short video on Instagram, but they do so much in 2 minutes and use beautiful transitions and music. The makeup look has to correspond with all other aspects of the video to make it cohesive and creative."
